Spa Day
April 2, 2016
"For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it." ~ Ivan Panin
The Peace Meal Project and guests enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvinating day at the spa.
Consultations with our estheticians taught us how to best care for our skin. And we even got free gifts to help us get started.

The Esthetician Program prepares students to sit for the Colorado State Board Examination. Estheticians are licensed by the State of Colorado to provide customers with a variety of personal services related to skin care. Students must complete the required hours of training and pass required State Board Examination if they wish to become a licensed esthetician.
Course Instructional Strategies: The esthetics course is a combination of theory, demonstration, discussion, and hands-on application of the material learned in the classroom and in the lab/shop. Instruction may include the use of audio visuals, student and guest presentations, and collaborative learning.

We were pampered with facials, make-up applications and waxings by the uber talented students of The Esthetician Program at the Boulder Valley School District Arapahoe Campus.
Theory and practice makes use of the esthetics tools, supplies, textbooks, videos, internet, guest speakers, and lecture. Students work on each other, models, and clients to learn business etiquette and customer service.
